The University of Patras, School of #Agriculture is studying the effect of nanocoated glass with Luminesence Shifting materials on plant growth. Here is a picture of tomatos grown from seeds in two cases , under uncoated glass (to the right) and coated glass (to the left). The difference in growth rate is clearly visible under the coated glass. All other plant characteristics (wet weight, dry weight, stem thickness etc) are also better under coated glass. We will soon publish a study with detailed results from these experiments
