Brite Solar on ANT1 | Innovation, Agriculture & Energy for the Future
Brite Solar had the honor of participating in the “Your Business Can” show, broadcast on the ANT1 network, presenting its unique vision for the future of agriculture — one where food production and energy generation coexist harmoniously on the same piece of land.
In the segment, Dr. Nikos Kanopoulos, CEO of Brite Solar, introduced the company’s breakthrough technology: semi-transparent agrivoltaic panels that redefine the relationship between cultivation and clean energy.
Our technology, based on nanotechnology films, converts harmful UV radiation into red light that supports photosynthesis, while simultaneously offering:
- Energy autonomy for farmers
- Protection of crops from extreme weather events
- Dual land use: agriculture and solar energy together
Brite Solar is expanding across Europe, the United States, and Asia, and will soon launch its state-of-the-art production facility in Patras in 2025 — a major milestone in our international development.
